The Silver Ferns beat England 61-40 in the second netball test in Birmingham today, to take a 2-0 lead in the three-test series.
Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken made two changes to the starting line-up from the 52-36 first test win.
Former South African defender Leana du Plooy made her debut for New Zealand at goalkeep while Victoria Edward slotted into the wing defence role ahead of veteran Lesley Nicol.
The Silver Ferns led 13-10 after a tight first quarter and had increased that to 33-20 by halftime.
Replacements at halftime gave the Silver Ferns increased impetus as they applied strong pressure on England.
The introduction of Vilimaina Davu at goalkeep, Adine Harper at wing attack and Nicol to wing defence allowed to Silver Ferns to increase their margins to 33-20 at threequarter time and a 21-goal difference at the end.
