Netball: Pulse suffer another loss

Central Pulse signed off their transtasman netball league campaign with a tight loss to 2009 champions Melbourne Vixens last night.

The 49-48 result marked the Pulse's 12th loss in 13 matches this season and did nothing to alter the standings ahead of the playoffs starting at the weekend.

The Pulse remain in ninth place - above the last-placed Canterbury Tactix on goal differential - and Melbourne seventh.
