KEY POINTS:
Central Pulse have further delayed naming their transtasman netball league squad until Monday.
Franchise chief executive Nigel Kirkpatrick had originally intended naming the players tomorrow but he said those plans had been put on hold while contracts were posted back to the franchise.
"We're all sorted, we've got the team but there's just a couple of little signatures to finalise," he told the Dominion Post newspaper.
"We wouldn't have finished signing up our players if we weren't happy with what we've got. It's a good squad, I think."
The Pulse were granted an extension to name their squad after funding problems saw them cut loose coach Kate Carpenter and then name Yvette McCausland-Durie as her replacement.
The other nine franchises released their squads on November 5.
Silver Fern Paula Griffin and Jamaican international Althea Byfield have both apparently committed to the Pulse, whose first first match next season is against the Southern Steel in Invercargill on April 4.
