KEY POINTS:
Central Pulse netball is looking for a new chief executive following the resignation of Kristine Mayo.
Mayo cited a desire to return to corporate business after standing down from the struggling franchise which finished last and winless in the first year of the ANZ Championship.
"I wanted to finish the first season, complete what we started, and then be in a position to wrap it up. I've learned a lot but ... it wasn't exactly what I wanted," Mayo told The Dominion Post.
She said the Pulse struggled to meet their $1.2 million budget, though they had good crowd attendances for home matches.
