The daughter of former Warriors captain Steve Price has been named one of 12 players in the New Zealand secondary schools netball squad to play in the transtasman schools tournament from May 28-June 1.
Jamie Lee Price's family has lived in Auckland since her father joined the Warriors from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for the 2005 NRL season.
New Zealand schools coach Helene Wilson was excited about the young talent in the side and the way they excelled through a vigorous trial session.
"We have a young team, with a number of new faces, which is full of variety and will bring the dynamic skills needed to be competitive in the tournament," she said.
"These girls are determined and hard-working, I think they will represent their country with pride."
