New Zealand under-21 completed their pool matches unbeaten by thumping Wales 81-21 at the world youth netball championship in Florida today.
It was New Zealand's fourth win from as many matches as they enter the second round.
With skipper Laura Langman, Liana Barrett-Chase and Wendy Telfer in the mid court, New Zealand's defensive zone and speed through the court left Wales scrambling.
New Zealand were able to capitalise on Welsh mistakes throughout.
New Zealand led 33-14 at halftime then posted 23 and 25 goals in the third and fourth quarters respectively.
The game completed the preliminary round of pool play, with all teams in the championship now being reranked for the group rounds, before playoffs for final positions.
New Zealand play the United States tomorrow in the first game of the second round.
