New Zealand lost their world under-21 netball title to a fired-up Australian team in the final of the world youth championships in the Cook Islands yesterday. New Zealand never recovered from a disastrous first quarter, when the Australians led 21-5 after 15 minutes. NZ were more competitive in the second quarter but Australia had an unassailable 37-19 halftime lead.
