The Northern Mystics remain perfect in the ANZ Premiership, moving to 3-0 after a comfortable 46-42 victory over the Southern Steel.
Led by promising young shooter Grace Nweke (35/40) the Mystics led from the first goal and never allowed the Steel a sniff. A 24-20 halftime led quickly extended to 37-29 with a quarter remaining, and although the Steel won the final quarter, it was far too late.
The Steel remain as the competition's only winless team, at 0-3, and back up against the Northern Stars tomorrow afternoon.
