Melbourne Vixens defender Geva Mentor will not be making the trip to Auckland for her side's final game of the season against the Mystics next Monday.
The star English international is to undergo minor surgery on left knee today in Melbourne.
Mentor, consistently one of the best performing defenders in the transtasman league, has clearly been hampered by a knee injury this season, and has struggled to make the same impact for her side she has in previous years.
The 30-year-old is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the World Cup in Sydney in August.
