Netball: Massey High win national schools title

Massey High are the New Zealand secondary schools netball champions after winning a tight final against Southland's Verdon College in Blenheim today.

Results: 11th/12th playoff - Paraparaumu College 24 Sacred Heart Girls 25, 9th/10th playoff- Cambridge High 31 Taradale High 28, 7th/8th New Plymouth Girls 41 Marlborough Girls 34, 5th/6th - Craighead Diocesan 41 Villa Maria 32, 3rd/4th Mt Albert Grammar 47 TCS Tu Toa 34.

Final - Massey High 40 Verdon College 38.
