Three New Zealand players have been named in the trans-Tasman netball league's All Star team but there is no room for any Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic players in the side.
The Magic face the Northern Mystics in the preliminary final in Hamilton on Sunday, who had wing defence Kayla Cullen and goal defence Anna Scarlett named in the selection.
Southern Steel goal keep Leana de Bruin also features in the side.
Cullen, 19, who is in the running for the league's best young player award, is one of two players uncapped at international level in the team, with Adelaide Thunderbirds' wing attack Emily Beaton the other.
The side, selected by former internationals Tania Dalton, Liz Ellis and netball writers, includes the injured Australian captain Sharelle McMahon at goal attack, Queensland Firebirds' goal shoot Romelda Aiken and Adelaide's Natalie von Bertouch at centre. The coach of the unbeaten Firebirds, Roselee Jencke was picked to guide the side.
