Netball: Litchwark named Central Pulse captain

Defender Cushla Litchwark has been named captain of the Central Pulse for this year's trans-Tasman netball championship.

Litchwark will lead the side from goal defence, having largely played as a wing defence during last year's inaugural ANZ Championship, in which the Pulse finished a winless last.

She inherits the captaincy from Frances Solia, who has left the franchise to play for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic this season.
