Netball: Flyers make new coaching appointment

Former Silver Ferns netball defender Tanya Dearns will coach the Central Flyers.

Dearns, of Hawkes Bay, got the job ahead of incumbent co-coaches Yvette McCausland-Durie and Eliza Falcon, and three unnamed applicants.

She coached the Capital Shakers to the National League semifinals in 2000-2002.
