Former international Jenny-May Coffin has retired from all netball.
Coffin, 30, played 26 tests for New Zealand and represented Waikato for 13 years.
She had retired from international netball last year.
"I know it's time for me to move over and I'm happy to let it go," Coffin said.
"For me there is nothing left I want to achieve and retirement is certainly something I've been thinking about for the last six months.
"With the National Bank Cup looming it's only fair to make the call now before the trials so (Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic coach) Noeline (Taurua) can look ahead to next year.
"I know I'm still capable of contending with any of the top players today,.
"But ultimately you need to know when it's time to move on, although I still have the love and passion for the game that will never go away.
"I just don't have the heart and mind to push myself through those physical and mental barriers any more."
Taurua said losing Coffin was a huge blow for Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
"She's been around for a long time and her knowledge and experience is going to be a big loss," she said.
"It's the whole package, what she offers on court as well as off court."
