The Calypso Girls of netball, Trinidad and Tobago, are spending a week training in Australia on their way to the world championships.
Trinidad and Tobago, the only nation outside New Zealand and Australia to win a world crown (in 1979), have come under the guidance of former Australian world champion Sharon Finnan this year.
Finnan and national coach Grace Parkinson-Griffith said they were troubled by the girls' lack of mental toughness, but hoped they would reproduce the mettle that won them the American qualifying tournament last year.
