Australia aren't giving anything away leading up to netball's showpiece event, says England coach Lyn Gunson.
The defending world champions, gunning for their fourth consecutive world championship title trounced South Africa in a recent test series but caused some surprise when they lost to Jamaica 49-46 in "friendly" series this year.
"Their loss to Jamaica is a sure sign they are working on new things," Gunson said.
"I think they are playing an interesting game at the moment and haven't shown their hand.
"But you can rest assured Australia will be really strong."
Gunson's English side played Jamaica in Jamaica last month. They won the first test 51-47 but lost the next two, 49-39 and 52-45.
"Jamaica has had a very good development programme for the last 8-10 years, or maybe even more, and it is really showing.
As for those raucous Jamaican supporters.
"They are very noisy but it is no different from what it is like here in New Zealand," she said.
"For some reason everyone thinks Jamaica are on their own with that but it is not true as anyone who has been in Stadium Southland when there has been a test on knows."
