KEY POINTS:
The twinkling toes of Temepara George will hit TV screens again this weekend but this time on the netball court.
George has been splitting her time between Dancing with the Stars and preparing for the new ANZ Championship with the Northern Mystics, with their opening game against the Canterbury Tactix on Sunday.
Mystics coach Yvonne Willering said they have done their best to accommodate George's commitments.
Willering invited George's dance partner to training so he can see what they are about and they have been trying to understand all the work she is putting in on the dance floor.
Willering said when George joins them on Wednesdays she is fully focused on netball.
Mystics defender Leana de Bruin said the team has been right behind the former Silver Ferns' dancing success, although joking that Yvonne Willering has told the players to stop text voting for George as they need her.
Meanwhile, with four days until the start of the competition the players are still wondering whether they will have anything to wear.
Teams are still waiting on their final playing uniforms and kit.
Willering said it is one of the teething problems for the new competition, with their track pants being too short for some of their tall players. She said players need to feel good in what they wear and, hopefully, come match day they will have something to wear.
The ANZ Championship gets underway on Saturday afternoon with the Pulse hosting the Melbourne Vixens in Wellington.
