Silver Fern shooter Maria Tutaia put her best foot forward for CanTeen in Auckland yesterday.
The 27-year-old netballer, who is a CanTeen ambassador, paired with lymphoma survivor Caitlin King, 22, for a three-legged race in Silo Park. The event is one of many aimed at raising awareness for CanTeen's annual national street appeal, due to take place a week tomorrow.
Ms King, a former Auckland branch president for CanTeen, said she and Tutaia worked well together, finishing third.
"The height wasn't an issue. I was set lower then her shoulders so it was quite good in the end."
