R and R Sport NZ won the 103km 24 Hours of Southern Traverse adventure race in the Queenstown region on Saturday.
The Nelson-based team comprised high-profile multisporters Richard Ussher and Nathan Fa'avae plus Finnish adventure racer Elina Rautila and Luke Vaughan, of Christchurch.
They recorded a time of 15 hours nine minutes, 30 minutes ahead of the next team. Twenty four-person teams began the race.
