Multisport: Tauranga ironman closed off

The field is full for the Port of Tauranga half ironman five weeks before the race.

The event at Mt Maunganui on January 7 doubles as the Triathlon New Zealand long distance championships.

Organiser Sport Bay of Plenty is thrilled with the response but had to close entries after reaching the limit of 750 paid entries for 600 individuals and 150 teams.
