V8 Supercar driver and former FIA World Touring Car Champion, Paul 'the Rat' Radisich will replace Aussie David Besnard in the NZV8 championship.
"In recent years, my racing and business commitments haven't allowed for me to compete for an entire NZV8 series," he said of his move to Tracer Motorsport.
"While I've been having discussions with Simon Cressey for some time, it is only now I can fully commit and support the national series," he said.
Radisich will run in an HSV/Toll Racing Holden for the two endurance rounds of the V8 Supercar series at Sandown and Bathurst.
Following those rounds, he will test the Tracer Falcon before the NZV8 season opener at Pukekohe.
