Young Kiwi Richie Stanaway gets another chance to show what he can do in a Porsche 911 race car this weekend at round six of the Porsche Supercup, also at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
With Mitch Evans (in GP2), he will be part of the support category for the Formula One Grand Prix and is looking forward to getting his first podium finish.
Racing in July in Hungary, Stanaway qualified in a season's best third on the grid and looked good for a podium finish.
But his race was over before it really got started, being punted off by an over-exuberant Michael Ammermuller and then being collected by most of the rest of the field as they streamed through turn one.
The New Zealander is looking to improve on his 11th place in the championship but he is the only rookie in the entire field.
