The Pukekohe 500, the season finale for the V8 SuperTourers, has been brought forward a week to avoid a date clash with the V8 Supercars which involves a lot of the same drivers.
It will now be raced over the weekend of November 29-December 1. The original date clashed with the the Sydney 500.
"Dates occasionally have to be changed due to factors outside of our control," SuperTourers chief executive Ray Noonan said. "What is imperative is to confirm a replacement as quickly as possible for the drivers, teams and sponsors, as well as the fans.
"Hopefully by bringing the event one week forward, we have avoided any potential disruption and our teams and drivers can focus 100 per cent on the event before switching their attention to Australia the following weekend."
