Toyota Racing Series driver, Briton Alex Lynn, put on a consummate display of race-car driving at Taupo over the weekend in round three of the championship.
His two race wins were unchallenged, and the weekend's results were marred only by a mistake in race two yesterday morning when he spun at the first corner.
But Lynn is made of stern stuff and commenced to monster the field from 16th to finish eighth by race end.
"It's was a great, great feeling this weekend despite race two," said Lynn. "The team have been great and given me a really fast car."
Although Nick Cassidy now leads the championship heading to Hampton Downs next weekend, he's yet to win a race, and that irks him a little. "It's great to be in the lead of the championship," said Cassidy. "The weekend wasn't perfect by a long shot, but we got some good results and some good points.
