The GP2 drivers return to racing after a four-week European summer break ready to tackle the daunting Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for round eight of the championship.
It's one of the fastest and most demanding tracks on the calendar and at 7 kilometres is the longest track the drivers have to negotiate.
Tyres have been the bugbear of the season so far, affecting all the drivers at one time of the other. This weekend Pirelli have nominated the orange hards, as well as the yellow softs in an effort to cope with the harsh demands of the track surface.
New Zealander Mitch Evans is racing in the series with the Arden International team. "We've managed to get on top of the tyre issue lately and we should be okay this weekend," said Evans.
"There isn't much practice time to waste on getting the car setup right and I'm confident the team will have a good start point when the car rolls out of the truck.
