Fresh from a standout second place in the KF class at Italy's big Winter Cup meeting at Lonato last weekend, Kiwi karter Marcus Armstrong will be one of the drivers to watch at the WSK Gold Cup meeting at Adria this weekend.
Though the Italian preview tags Winter Cup KF class Final winner (and Armstrong's Tony Kart teammate) Nicklas Nielsen) and Pole Karol Basz as favourites, the raw speed and racecraft Armstrong showed last weekend means he has as good a chance as any to take the battle to Nielsen.
Adria is in Italy's north-east, between Bologna and Padua, with clear skies but cool (12 degree C) temperatures predicted for the weekend.
