McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen has won Formula One's Belgian Grand Prix for the second year in a row.
Tyre choice was crucial because of the wet conditions, with teams trying to decide whether to go with wet, intermediate or slick tyres.
The result keeps Renault's championship leader Fernando Alonso waiting for the title.
Alonso needed to beat Raikkonen by four points to become the sport's youngest champion.
He crossed the line second after McLaren's Juan Pablo Montoya crashed three laps from the end.
Alonso now heads for Brazil in a fortnight hoping to be crowned there as he has a comfortable 25-point lead with three races remaining.
If Raikkonen was to win the three remaining races, Alonso could finish as low as seventh in all three races and still take the title.
Briton Jenson Button was third for BAR, while defending champion Michael Schumacher retired after an incident with Takuma Sato.
The three remaining races are in Brazil, Japan and China.
