Weeks after standing on the podium at the end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans after finishing second in the LMP2 class, Mitch Evans is walking the Silverstone track in England in preparation for round four of the GP2 championship.
As he goes through what can be only regarded as another frustrating season in the category one down from Formula One, Evans remains stoic in his belief that consistency is just around the corner.
When the young Kiwi has been given the tools to do his job well, he's been as quick as anyone else in the field.
He had a second-place finish in Spain in May, and is hoping Silverstone will be a repeat of last year to get his championship tilt back on track. Sixth isn't really where he wants to be at the moment.
"Getting my first GP2 win at Silverstone will help me this weekend, that's for sure," said Evans.
