PARIS - Formula One's governing body has warned rookie teams USF1 and Campos Meta they must take part in every Grand Prix on the 18-race schedule.
The participation of the two new teams has come under scrutiny with neither expected to participate in pre-season testing.
FIA says "each team that has registered for the championship is obliged to take part in every event of the season with any failure to take part, even for just one championship event, would constitute an infringement."
Campos is currently in talks to sell its team as Serbia-based Stefan GP reportedly waits in the wings for a spot on the 13-car grid.
Both Campos and USF1 say they will be at the season-opening Bahrain GP on March 14.
