Brendon Hartley's Formula 1 boss has declared his first-lap accident at the Canadian Grand Prix will have no impact on his future at Toro Rosso.
The 28-year-old has been under pressure to retain his seat and wasn't helped when he was taken out by the Williams of Lance Stroll in Montreal.
But Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko could see Hartley did nothing wrong and won't judge him on misfortune.
"It was, I would say, a racing accident, and has nothing to do about his future," Marko told Motorsport.com. "He will be in the car," he added in reference to the next Grand Prix in France next weekend.
Marko also admitted there were a lot of false rumours doing the rounds.
