KEY POINTS:
Kiwis in Sydney are being given a fair dinkum chance to support the table topping New Zealand team at this weekend's Australian round of A1GP.
The New Zealand team will shout a ticket to any Kiwi rocking up to the Eastern Creek circuit with their passport.
But anyone using the pronunciation 'teekeets', is unlikely to be given a free entry.
Team spokesman Hamish Miller said the team wants Jonny Reid to feel like he is driving at home.
"He loves this circuit and he enjoys performing in front of his countrymen, so we're pulling out all stops to generate support," Miller said.
"We don't care how many take up the opportunity. As long as they leave the Esky back in Bondi and they're wearing jandals, not thongs, we'll be happy."
New Zealand heads into the Sydney round with a narrow two-point lead over Switzerland and France in the 10-round championship.
Action starts at Eastern Creek today with Earl Bamber driving Black Beauty in the rookie sessions before Reid takes over for two practice sessions, qualifying and the two points-scoring races.
