V8 Supercar outfit Holden Racing Team have a new boss after Craig Wilson stepped down as managing director of Walkinshaw Racing.
HRT, the team of current driver's champion James Courtney and veteran Garth Tander, are run by Walkinshaw Racing as well as the Bundaberg Racing outfit that New Zealander Fabian Coulthard calls home.
Current director Ivan Krizman will add the acting managing director role to his portfolio following Wilson's departure.
Wilson has departed the role in order to spend more time with his family a statement from Walkinshaw Racing said on Friday.
"We all know the commitment required at this level of racing, and Craig has decided that he requires time to pursue other priorities," Martine Walkinshaw said in the statement.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Craig for his years of service, his support to the Walkinshaw family and wish him the best in the next phase of his life."
Krizman will step into his dual role immediately with the next round of the V8 Supercar championship to be held in Darwin from June 17 to 19.
