Team Vodafone boss Roland Dane has fired back at V8 Supercar star Garth Tander, saying the Holden Racing Team driver should mind his own business rather than trying to unsettle others.
Tander, who labelled Jamie Whincup's Bathurst co-driver Andrew Thompson "hopeless" in the wet, continued his verbal assault on the V8 Supercar leaders ahead of this weekend's Gold Coast 600.
The three-time Bathurst winner said Dane would face a monumental challenge managing the "egos" of his drivers Whincup and Craig Lowndes as the pair race each other for this year's championship.
But Dane says he and his team have no issues and it's Tander who should be worrying - and he was proved right when Whincup won the first Gold Coast race last night, with Tander in 11th place and Lowndes resigned to a DNF after a damaged radiator.
Dane said he had no issues ensuring Whincup and Lowndes were fully focused on maintaining a strong partnership despite their title battle.
