Supercars championship leader Jamie Whincup is chasing a major milestone heading into this weekend's Ipswich SuperSprint at Queensland Raceway.
The six-times champion could become just the second driver in the championship's history to secure 100 race wins with a victory in either of the two races at the 3.12 kilometre track.
Whincup, who debuted in 2002, sits on 99 career race victories and would follow Red Bull Racing stablemate Craig Lowndes into triple figure territory with his next race win.
Championship rival Mark Winterbottom will also enjoy a milestone when he lines up in his 400th Supercars race on Saturday.
