Jamie Whincup has accused Supercars boss James Warburton of playing dirty after his appeal over his Bathurst 1000 finish was thrown out.
The Red Bull Racing driver has also accused TV networks of doctoring race footage audio to suggest he didn't follow team orders which led to the crash at Mount Panorama.
Whincup crossed the line first at Mount Panorama, but was handed a time penalty after being involved in a crash, which meant Will Davison and co-driver Jonathon Webb won.
In a statement on his website, Whincup says he'd be more than happy to work with Supercars to help improve their penalty process as they've still got a fair to go to refining it.
