V8 Supercar driver Paul Weel has been cleared of any major injury and released from hospital after his crash at the Bathurst 1000 a week ago. Weel, 29, had to be extracted from his PWR Holden after a collision with Team Kiwi Racing driver Chris Pither in practice.
