Holden's V8 Supercars Charity Auction is a motorsport fan's dream come true, with a raft of exclusive memorabilia on offer to raise funds for the New Zealand Leukaemia & Blood Foundation (LBF).
Holden's V8 Supercar auction, which started on Monday at www.trademe.co.nz/holden, features a chance of winning a tour with V8 driver, Kiwi Jason Richards. The winner and a friend will get a personal tour of the pit facilities and the opportunity to sit in his car.
Also up for grabs is Greg Murphy's 2008 team uniform and a limited edition Hamilton400 jacket signed by Garth Tander, along with 13 other items included in the auction.
Simon Carr, Holden New Zealand managing director, says, "Holden has long been a supporter of the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation, providing vehicles for its patient-support services staff. Our sponsorship of the Hamilton400 provided a great opportunity to bring the two together to raise vital funds for LBF."
The foundation's Pru Etchevery said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of the Supercar drivers.
Holden's V8 Supercars Charity Auction will close at 8pm on April 19. But bids for the exclusive Jason Richards experience will close at 7pm tomorrow.
The foundation is the only organisation in New Zealand dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.
