Respected motorsport magazine Autosport is reporting veteran Juho Hanninen and WRC2 star Esapekka Lappi will be Toyota's drivers in next season's WRC return.
The 35-year-old Hanninen has been used as a test driver for the new team over the past year and previously drove for Hyundai.
Lappi has never driven a WRC car but was the 2014 European Rally Champion and has enjoyed success as a Skoda works driver in WRC2.
Toyota had previously tried to lure Citroen's Kris Meeke away from the French manufacturer and had been negotiating with off-contract Hyundai star Thierry Neuville.
It is likely the Japanese manufacturer will enter two Toyota Yaris cars to begin the season but will add a third car from round four onwards.
