Toyota's impressive performance at the official pre-race test has made the Japanese manufacturer favourites for this weekend's LeMans 24 Hour race.
Toyota Motorsport GmbH technical director Pascal Vasselon said: "After the test it is difficult to say that we are not favourites.
Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber are the strongest Kiwi hopes in the works Porsche team where they are one of six cars in the LMP1 category.
Fellow New Zealanders Scott Dixon (Ford) and Richie Stanaway (Aston Martin) are also competing but in the LMGTE Pro class. There are 13 cars in that field.
Overall there are 60 entries.
