Team Kiwi Racing (TKR) are facing High Court action by their former clothing supplier.
Apparel by Design issued legal proceedings against TKR in the High Court as they believe they are owed thousands of dollars.
The hearing is set down for February next year.
Team Kiwi Racing's boss, David John, told Radio Sport today he did everything he could to avoid a High Court showdown.
He said he tried to settle debts out of court, but failed.
TKR's next race is this weekend's Bathurst 1000 endurance classic.
