23-year-old Auckland driver Brock Timperley will make his BNT NZ Touring Car Championship debut in November when round one gets underway at Pukekohe.
A former Rookie of the Season in the Mazda Pro 7 Championship, last season Timperley went on to Win the New Zealand Championship for Pro 7 Plus, 3rd in the North Island Championship and received the Most Improved award.
Now looking to progress his motorsport career, Timperley has set his sights on competing in class two of the BNT NZ Touring Car Championship.
"It's difficult to have any goals before the season starts, it would be great to say my goal is to win the championship but I couldn't say that yet as I have no clue what I will be like against the other drivers - many of whom have been racing these cars for a number of years now," says Timperley.
"However at the end of the day my goal is to have a great time next to my father and team manager Roy who is my backbone when it comes to my racing."
