KEY POINTS:
Holden's Garth Tander has narrowed the gap on his series-leading team-mate Rick Kelly with a win in race one of the Ipswich round of the V8 Supercars Series.
Tander has the taken the chequered flag at Queensland Raceway by the narrowest of margins ahead of Holden veteran Mark Skaife, while Ford's James Courtney was third.
With two races today, Tander is 26 points ahead of Kelly, who finished seventh yesterday.
Tasman Motorsport's bad run of luck has continued. Greg Murphy has finished well off the pace in 19th, while fellow Kiwi Jason Richards, who crashed badly at the circuit in 2005, failed to finish the 38-lap race.
