Veteran Supercars driver Garth Tander will return to Garry Rogers Motorsport in 2017 replacing departing Kiwi Scott McLaughlin.
The 2007 series champion began his career with GRM in 1998 and spent seven seasons with the outfit before moving to the HSV Dealer Team, with who he won his title.
The 39-year-old has been with the Holden Racing Team since 2008 but was not re-signed this year, replaced with for DJR Team Penske driver Scott Pye.
Tander's signing comes in the same week that GRM held mediation talks with Volvo about continuing to use the two S60s next year despite Polestar's withdrawal from Supercars.
