The Holden Racing Team will make a special Anzac tribute with a commemorative livery at this weekend's ITM 400 Auckland at Pukekohe Park Raceway.
Garth Tander and James Courtney's HRT VF Commodores will exhibit a one-off design highlighted by a modernised version of the Anzac Rising Sun and graphics depicting Australian and New Zealand soldiers walking side-by-side into battle.
The livery has been approved by the Returned and Services' League of Australia (RSL) and the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services' Association (RSA).
As part of the occasion, HRT's Anzac tribute will raise awareness for the RSL's Anzac appeal, which runs to Anzac Day, commemorated on April 25, and the RSA's poppy day appeal, which will take place next Friday.
V8 Supercars champions Tander and Courtney said they were honoured to carry the Anzac tribute into competition.
