The future of Super Black Racing remains up in the air as veteran driver Jason Bright appears poised to take their place at the Prodrive Racing stable next year.
Bright is reportedly taking his Racing Entitlements Contract to the Ford outfit next season as the fourth car to work out of the same operation - the space Super Black Racing had occupied the past two Supercars seasons.
Prodrive Racing co-owner Rusty French has purchased Super Black's REC but has yet to announce where it will be placed.
Super Black Racing, the only New Zealand outfit in the series, is vowing to continue on in the series but has recently lost its team boss Greg Hahn for 2017 while driver Chris Pither is off-contract and evaluating his options.
