Hyundai driver Dani Sordo suffered a fractured vertebrae and spent time over the weekend in hospital after a crash in testing.
The Spaniard was taken to hospital in Finland following the smash and spent Saturday and most of Sunday under observation before being discharged on Sunday evening.
"We had a strong off in the Finland test. A broken suspension arm turned the car completely to the right and we had a strong impact at the front," he explained on his Facebook page.
"I have a fractured vertebrae and nothing much more important. I am pretty sore the lumbar part, tomorrow I'm going home for total rest to try to be on top in Finland," he wrote.
Sordo's co-driver Marc Marti was not badly injured.
