Motorsport: Solberg on the charge

Defending champion Petter Solberg is on the charge after 11 stages of Rally New Zealand.

The Subaru driver has won stage 11 by 2.7 seconds from Peugeot's Marcus Gronholm to move to second overall, 32.2 seconds behind the leader, Citroen's Sebastian Loeb.

Solberg says he is pleased to have moved from fourth to second over this morning's three stages.

He says he had a few problems earlier but things came right on stage 11.

Gronholm is a further 1.7 seconds behind Solberg in third place.
