The king of Eastern Creek, Mark Skaife, continued his phenomenal run at the western Sydney circuit yesterday, setting the fastest time in practice for the second round of the V8 Supercars championship. The 40-year-old Holden veteran clocked 1m 33.01s to top the charts ahead of qualifying and race one today.
Ford driver Mark Winterbottom clocked second while Holden's Garth Tander was third.
