Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen is going drifting again – this time in the D1NZ championship.
The Red Bull Holden Racing star, who won the Supercars championship in 2016, confirmed he would take part in drifting events at Tauranga's Baypark Stadium on February 17, Levels Raceway in Timaru on March 9-10 and Pukekohe Park Raceway on May 11-12.
The 28-year-old will run the MCA Suspension 370Z in his return to drifting. Van Gisbergen previously competed in the series three years ago.

Last week van Gisbergen helped launch the new-look ZB Commodore ahead of the 2018 Supercars season, which starts in March.
