Teenage prodigy Kalle Rovanpera is set to make his WRC debut at Rally Great Britain and will back that up with a drive at Rally Australia in an M-Sport Ford Fiesta.
The 16-year-old Finn turns 17 on October 1 and will complete his driver's license test the following day, opening the doors to a WRC debut.
The son of WRC rally winner Harri Rovanpera has long been viewed as a future star of the sport and will get his first opportunity to showcase those skills with M-Sport.
"He's about the same as Jari-Matti [Latvala] was when he first came," M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson told Autosport, "and there's always something really exciting about seeing these young guys progress.
"Having him with us for GB and Australia is fantastic news - he's going to be a real talking point on the last two rounds of this year's world championship."
